CFB Past Presidents

Provincial Champions at CFB

CFB Halifax Curling Club has a relatively short history, being the second youngest curling club in HRM.  In 1970, four separate curling clubs, Stadacona Curling Club, Windsor Park Curling Club, Dockyard Curling Club, and Gorsebrook Curling Club, were renting ice from Glencoe Curling Club on Maitland Street in Halifax, and wanted their own facility to play in.  On January 15, 1971 they incorporated into CFB Halifax Curling Club.

CFB Halifax Curling Club is a modern, 6 sheet curling facility located conveniently in peninsular Halifax (see Directions).  Although our club provides recreation opportunities to the military community, we also have a large civilian membership.  Our championship history is varied and colourful with Provincial and National winners (See Winners).  We have good representation in the competitive community in Nova Scotia, and our club has a reputation for relaxed and social curling.  Our leagues are varied and can accommodate curlers at every level.
