Team Moore: Cally Moore, skip, Taylour Stevens, mate, Cassidy Currie, second, Cate Fitzgerald, lead, and Rob Moore, coach
Team Moore won the 2019 Canada Winter Games Selection Final, held at Mayflower. It was a 4 team triple knockout. The girls went 2-0 to win the A bracket, a third win won the B bracket... so at that point they were 3-0 and had to be beaten 3 in a row as they were in the C final, and clinched a spot in the semi finals and finals. They lost the C final to Isabelle Ladouceur, but then beat Ladouceur in the next game... the semi final 7-2. That meant the final wasn’t necessary. Final record, 4-1. Cally and her teammates will be representing CFB Halifax Curling Club and be part of Team Nova Scotia at the 2019 Canada Games in Alberta next February!
We want to also give a shotout out to CFB's Owen Purcell who came so close. His team lost in the final to Ethan Young of Mayflower. Young went a perfect 4-0.
